Volunteer
One of the biggest things we consider a blessing and enjoy are people that volunteer. There is always something that needs to be done within our ministry. We welcome anyone that longs to help whether for a short amount of time or a long amount of time. We pray that the Lord allows our team to grow continually so that our hopes and dreams for this ministry will be accomplished. We would also like to welcome anyone that would like to observe what we are doing within our ministry.
In June 2007, we received our first volunteer from Africa Inland Mission (AIM). Katie Holman stayed with us for eight weeks. She served as a short-term missionary coming from Georgia, United States.
In February of 2008, we welcomed three short term missionaries from Africa Inland Mission (AIM). Renee, Stacy and Sabrina stayed with us for 3 months, 4 months and 6 months serving in computer training, making home visits, writing proposals, teaching our sewing girls English and ran our Saturday classes.
In August 2008, we welcomed Mr.Adrian Weisensee from in
Germany, who worked with us up July 2009.
Ways to volunteer:
- Teaching English to our children
- Meeting with the foster parents/children weekly to encourage them.
- Organizing VBS or Bible studies for the children.
- Computer work (teaching, helping to edit proposals, website up keep, etc.)
- Book keeping / Accounting
- Teaching seminars (to the foster parents to help them to learn and encourage them through the Word of God).
- Office work
- Various Training to our Staff.
